Video: Vocabulary:
Storyboard- A graphic organizer, similar to a comic book, arranged in a sequence to pre-visualize a film, short, animation, etc.
- originated in the 30s at Disney Studios
-Gone With the Wind was the first feature to be fully storyboarded

storyboard conventions



Arrows can show camera movements.  You can show a frame within a frame to show where the shot begins or ends.






Arrows can also show movement of the characters within the frame.

For the notebook today, work on your thumbnail sketches.
Agenda:
1. three thumbnail sketches
2. working on interview layouts
   - at least 2 fonts
   - at least 2 photos
   -at least 2 paragraphs (you can have bullet points, captions, other text in addition to the paragraphs)
   -one of the photos must be cut out from the background
   -headline
